The public sector in Denmark is moving towards a new rationale in management: Performance Management. We need to shift our primary focus from input, activities and output, instead to focus on the actual results – the social value - we achieve through our activities. To ensure that we attain our goals, we also need to know which activities have an actual effect on the target group.
