The goal of change facilitation is to enhance an organisation's capacity for collaboration and useful change. Furthermore, positive relationships, better work environment and enhanced performance are some of the results.
The primary tools in change facilitation
The primary tools are:
- In-the-moment facilitation – Awareness of the language used, and creating a mutual understanding. Developing relations between people through meaningful dialogues.
- Meeting-design - Creating dialogues, establishing common sense-making in different groups. Making transparent agendas and facilitation of meetings.
- Process-design – Creating a "heliotrope" (with shared images to ensure efforts towards a common positive future) for the outcome of the whole process. Working with the alignment of an individual and organisational perspective.
