MT Højgaard A/S:
Digitalisation strategy
The contracting company, MT Højgaard, requested a strategy to achieve competitive advantage through more efficient utilisation of new technology. Ramboll Management Consulting analysed business processes to determine the need for new tools and advised on which would have the most significant impact to support the business.
Danish Society of Engineers (IDA):
IT strategy, architecture and governance 2007-2011
Ramboll Management Consulting assisted IDA in the development and establishment of an IT strategy and IT infrastructure for 2007-2011. In addition RMC created an expansion of IDA’s governance structure, so the projects and resources are prioritised in a cross-disciplinary project management steering group.
Danish Parliament:
Development of IT architecture and information modelling
We provided consultancy support to the process of developing an IT and information architecture framework for Danish Parliament until 2010.
National IT and Telecom Agency (ITST):
Integration of cases and documents between EDM-systems and field-targeted systems
Ramboll Management Consulting facilitated cooperation between ITST, Local Government Denmark (KL), Ringsted Municipality, and KMD and Traen (Danish IT companies), regarding development and testing of standards to ease the work load for social workers, and make case studies available for other involved parties. The focus was on the individual workflow and which IT systems could lead to useful results.
Utility company
Goal architecture, mapping of complex system landscape, and design of roadmap for the IT department
Ramboll Management Consulting conducted a measurement of IT goal architecture, based on analysis of client business strategy. Afterwards Ramboll created an
- Overall documentation of the IT environment (infrastructure, servers, systems, databases, etc.) as the utility company was responsible for running and supporting various supplier networks
- Overall description and assessment of the client's own solutions as well as the competence- requirements for problem solving in the client organisation.
The analysis gave a much better insight in the complex IT environment and simultaneously uncovered challenges in resource and competency planning, related to the IT-setup.
