Improved uptake and innovative uses of ICT (Information and Communication Technology) are key to improving the competitiveness of European industries, to support growth and the creation of jobs, and to address key social challenges. Thus, Information Society policies in Europe have as a common goal to reduce or remove barriers to widespread and fast uptake of ICT, both in businesses, among private citizens, and not least in the public sector.
At European level, policy instruments to achieve the Information Society objectives are mostly related to regulation, research, and deployment. Ramboll Management works with these different instruments within a broad range of areas of relevance to both businesses, citizens, and government. Subjects include e-Business, e-Government, e-Procurement, e-Health, e-Learning, as well as cross-cutting issues such as innovation, research policy, and tools for deployment.
